Young Johannes’ Wiplala is no imaginary friend; he’s as real as a 4-inch-tall wizard can be. And to prove it, he turns the cat into stone by accident. Wiplala befriends the family until he shrinks them all ... Oops, the spell can’t be undone! Thrills and adventures ahead!When the Blom family – Father Blom, daughter Della Nella and son John – discover a kind of leprechaun, Wiplala, in their kitchen, crazy things begin to happen, since he has trouble controlling his magical powers. The adventure really unravels when the entire family is shrunk down to Wiplala’s miniscule size and must traverse home safely across the city. Careening across traffic-jammed streets in a toy car and catching a lift on Pigeon Airlines are just a few of the hijinks that befall the family while trying to help Wiplala cure his misfiring powers.
